Overview

Total Costs: A $75.00 registration fee payable to Allegheny Intermediate Unit is due when Apprenticeship Application Page is mailed to our office.

Students will be exposed to various careers in international affairs and to major economic, political, and societal issues in an increasingly interdependent world. Students will improve cross-cultural skills, explore study/work abroad options, and understand college/job requirements.

All sessions take place from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, 475 East Waterfront Drive, Homestead, PA 15120.





Instructor Bio: Samantha (Sam) Gonzalez joined the Council in August 2015 and is responsible for education programs for middle and high school students. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2009 with a B.A. in English Language and Literature and from the University of York, UK in 2010 with a M.A. in Medieval English Literatures. She previously taught English at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD and served as a Program Manager and Coordinator at the National Institutes of Health. Her international experience includes living primarily in the Philppines, Japan, and Okinawa for most of her childhood and obtaining an international M.A.
