Total Costs: A $75.00 registration fee payable to Allegheny Intermediate Unit is due when Apprenticeship Application Page is mailed to our office.

Students will be exposed to the format and development of a screenplay. Topics include: the elements of screenwriting, movie analysis, writing a variety of scenes, and how to sell your screenplay. All sessions take place on Fridays at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit -- 475 East Waterfront Drive -- Homestead, PA 15120 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. Instructor Bio: Lorraine Heidekat is an Emmy-winning freelance writer/producer whose projects have included everything from a documentary about adopting disabled children to a comedy set in a funeral home. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Her writing experience covers newspaper reporting, copywriting, playwriting and scripting.
