Total Costs: A $75.00 registration fee payable to Allegheny Intermediate Unit is due when Apprenticeship Application Page is mailed to our office. A $140.00 lab fee to cover a DiSC Profile and StrengthsQuest -- two renowned leadership development tools. Lab fee is payable to Inta-Great and is due at the first session.

That’s why Flourish is dedicated to helping 10th – 12th grade girls see themselves as leaders capable of positively influencing others and making a difference in their world.
A great way to prepare for college and beyond, Flourish will help participants: understand their unique leadership style, embrace their strengths, become media literate, communicate more effectively, develop emotional intelligence, choose R.E.A.L. relationships, identify their personal vision & values, make wise decisions, set SMART goals, and cultivate the courage to take calculated risks.
Participants will also have the opportunity to complete the DiSC Profile and StrengthsQuest – two renowned leadership development tools.

Instructor Bio: Valerie Faust, Founder & Executive Director
Valerie is a dynamic speaker, facilitator, trainer, and mentor. She is committed to working hard and pursuing excellence.
She began her career in 2008 with a leadership training & consulting company focused on business executives and “C-Level” leaders. While there, she had the opportunity to learn from renowned leadership development professionals and develop her skills. After a few years, however, it became clear to her that she was being called to something different. Passionate about helping young women and girls develop the confidence and skills they need to be successful leaders, she founded Blossom & Flourish in October 2011. Since then, she has been privileged to share her message of empowerment and leadership with over 350 middle school and high school students around western Pennsylvania.
Valerie holds her M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College and her B.A. in Communications and Business from the University of Pittsburgh where she was also a member of the Varsity softball team and Valedictorian of Graduating Student-Athletes her senior year. She is also certified in Compression Planning, a strategic planning tool.
She currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her awesome and supportive husband, Morgan, and their spoiled cats, Puma and Nike.”
